the ever famous 2005 in review entry...
so 2005 had to be the most amazing year ever! honestly almost everything that happened was amazing and i can't think of a time when i have been happier and just so alive.
january- so 2005 started on a pretty good note. i went to nyc with my parents to ring in the new year and it was awesome. finally got back to wac and the fun began. broke up with ryan the weekend we got back to wac.. and the best part of the month was the SOMETHING CORPORATE concert!! sooo amazing and i was with my berries :)
february- a busy month with crew and zta starting up again and also sooo much work for classes. a great recruitment week where we got 15 amazing new zeta's :) and the best thing about february was birthday ball!! always fun and dressing up.then ice skating fun for katy's birthday. february was where the confusion with jared started and would last the rest of the semester...
march - started out amazingly.. found out i was going to IRELAND and i got a little on the same day!!! spring break was mad crazy fun! the cowboy hats, team fun, laying out by the pool, some rowing.. i had a really good week coxing, back to wac and more work crazyness.. partying madness at mardi gras, satc marathon with berries. , regattas being cancelled because of almost flooding rains and arbour mist night with the worch girls to end march...
april- the month started with the world's craziest regatta adventure and the the craziest night of the year.. the crew easter drunkeness.. power 10's, innapropriate things to GW.. such a great night :) unc winning the college hoops and making amy dress up, great races in boston with my super hott 4, and loosing my voice, scottie doesn't know.. i love crew :) i had a rediculous amount of work in april about 50 pages needed to be written in 3 weeks, the chestertown tea party consuming my life, doing sooo many double practices, the zta formal and hooking up with jared which was just waitng to happen all semester...
may - may started with a bang.. MAY DAY the day of drunken nakedness... such fun.the mother sun regatta followed by the war on the shore then crew banquet with the power 10 award then finally may day drunken fun.ohhh short skirts, cowboy hats and jack and mike!! prostitution paper, chestertown class dinner at adam's, coxing a guys 4 which was fabulous! ecac's and the novi girls swamping their boat, finals week and hot dates with amy and amy and emily and fun in betterton! then dock time with the berries to end the semester... and then a crazy night- my last night at wac for 8 months! back to jersey.. where i spent my first summer home in almost forever.. subbed a lot, lifeguarded at hoover and class at montclair was my life for the second half of may...
june- started off the month going to see the sisterhood of the traveling pants with my twin opening night!! then getting my wisdom teeth out, not doing much since i was home, guarding at hoover, day camp starting, meeting amy and the rest of the crazy senior girls at the day camp.
july - july was also a really boring month.. didn't do much besides work at the day camp, which i grew to hate, the only thing keeping me sane was my counselors and our morning meetings, the 6th harry potter!! i spent a fabulous weekend on lbi with bridget. my 20th birthday and getting let down by the one person from hs, so not the best birthday, then ending the month seeing my 2 favourite people, jclark for lunch and my twin for a suprise visit!
august - couldn't end fast enough! the hershey park trip with the day camp was funny, a fun night out with hb and db which totally made us 16 again! the end of summer senior girls night out.. the last day of day camp! and the party that night.. what a way to end the summer.. hahha! and finally it was time to leave for IRELAND! i couldn't believe i was finally there! started the early start class and an adventure to blarney castle!
september - fell in love with cork and ireland! my early start class went well, adventures to kinsale this gorgeous little fishing town with my friends where i saw a seal!, went to cobh and the cork gaol with my class, i looove cobh! dinner fun with the group, going to the pubs everynight and talking, finally getting over jared, the ceilli mor record breaking dance, clubbing and loser roundup! cork winning the senior hurling finals! up the rebels! then not getting to go to belfast with my class, but the crazyness of dublin! the end of early start and the term begining! the ira decommissioning.. my first month in ireland was just fabulous!
october- started out amazing! went to dublin with the group and it was sooo much fun. really fell in love with dublin. then sunday morning woke up early and went on the first hike with the mountaineering club to boughaill .. and had an amazing hike and it was gorgeous and i met marcus... decided not to do crew while in ireland, started rock walling and going to the pub with the club! went to the cliffs of moher, one of my favourite places in ireland.. sooo amazing! it was worth the 9 hours spent on a bus in one day getting there. then a fabulous wednesday night with the club... ended up hooking up with marcus, which would start our relationship, another fun hike at gouganne barra, a crazy night at bree's with the keg of beamish! going to marcus's house for his 21st party and meeting his whole family! getting my research published! adam's tea party article!! soooo exciting! and hanging out with marcus... october was an even better month in cork!
november- november was the month of traveling... started out the month going to berlin with em and laura! funniest trip ever! berlin is amazing! the reichstag, the berlin wall, cartwheels along the river, the redic pub crawl and pretending to be irish, throwing up on the metro, funny face photos and animal cracker sloths... a fun week in cork getting ready for dingle with loads of rock walling and prepartying thursday.. the never have i ever fucked a sheep moment.. hahaha! then dingle fun! the best weekend! sooo funnny! an amazing hike up mt. brandon! chasing sheep, cartwheels and frolicking with the other erin, the pink hat, saturday night drunken fun, the crazyest card game ever, cross dressing guys, its a walk off, conor and the bananna, crazy games with cardboard boxes, and the fun bed! then sunday rock climbing on these amazing cliffs over the atlantic! soooo much fun! i loved it! going to england to visit forest and yorkie! sooo much fun getting to see them! seeing the 4th HP movie opening night in england! spraining my ankle on the rock wall, silly fall while lead climbing. a super fun uccmc thanksgiving dinner! going to killarney for the most amazing weekend with marcus.seeing his family, bike riding all over killarney,seeing the most gorgeous sites ever, cuddling by the fire, more biking, feeding ducks, playing in castles and trees, going climbing at the gap! where i got to pet a sheep!! soooo exciting! such a fabulous weekend! realizing i only had a month left in cork.. but november was fantastic and just incredible!
december- started out in paris! with em, laura, jenny, nora and julia. sooo fun! the eiffel tower, the louvre, notre dame, the seine, just a great weekend! the dublin bus station storytime and the best bus ride back to cork with em and laura. but once back in cork, found out my great grandmother died, that was hard. worked like crazy since i had 3 -4000 word papers due the 13th! finishing my papers and getting totally drunk with some early start kids and gabriel... my suprise trip to barcelona with marcus.. getting to see the med sea!! and sitting on the beach kissing at night, all the crazy building, the most gorgeous catheral ever! such an amazing few days... also did something else for the first time. the crazy victorian christmas party with the club.. such a great way to end the term with them.. . went to killarney one last time with marcus. my last amazing night in cork. saying goodbye to the city and country that i fell in love with and also the goodbye at the airport to marcus, who i had also fallen in love with. the crazyness of london! big ben-parliament! the long flight home.. getting attacked by my family... working christmas eve.. christmas.. new york on st. stephen's day.. to ending the year working...
