halfway there, two weeks, photoshop

so in fabulous news on sunday i passed the 10,000 word count on the thesis.
i have half of it written :)
YAY!

that was quite exciting, chapter one and two are done, and are in my advisor's office, chapter three has 1000 words, and is being worked on this week. it should be around 3500 -4000 words, but i seriously need to find some more primary sources on domestics in britain, hopefully when i meet with andy next week he might have some good ideas. the goal for this week is to write 3-4000 words. so finish chapter three and start four. go erin! which is good, considering at the start of june the word count was 0. so to write 13,000 words in a month, i think is pretty good. especially since i'm working and having a life, not living in the library.

ok, enough with the boring thesis news.

it has been a good week, quiet at work, except for all the crazyness with the international student housing placements, but overall good. the weather could be a little nicer, but i'm going home in 2 weeks where it will be warm and sunny, so that will help. i can't believe it is the end of june and that it is july next week. seriously. annnd i'm going home for a month! i'm actually super excited about that, i've been emailing everyone making plans and figuring out everything. my dc/coop's wedding weekend is going to fab! i'm staying with hilaberry, lunch with my worch girls, the wedding and seeing almost all of my favourite people, then meeting up with my little/glittle. and that's just the first weekend home. eeeeeeeee! and then 5 days at the shore, i am soo excited to lay out on the beach and do nothing except read and soak up the sun. and then my boston lovers renunion. :) and twin is working at peec, so she is super close too.

i've been meeting up with friends a lot this week, kara and i have hung out a few times this week like always, sam and i went to wagamamma's for dinner tonight, karen and i are doing lunch tomorrow, friday is catriona's 21st, so i've been a busy little social butterfly. the last two nights brenda and i have hung out watching tv/movies at night and it has been fun :)

so i've been playing with photoshop the past few days again, it is soo addictive and here are some of my creations - photoshop fun :) they are in order of me doing them the first bunch are all from junior year after i came back from ireland the first time.
