the universe

for a little over a year now i have been getting notes from the universe. i saw a post on katie's(can i just say) blog and i was intrigued, so i signed up. and monday to friday i wake up to a email with some little words of inspiration/wisdom/life. and they are pretty awesome. and i've gotten some awesome ones in the past:

My wish for you, Erin, is that you succeed beyond your wildest imagination. That you find love in places that astound you. And that you have friends who call you "just because." I dream that you go barefoot more than you wear shoes. That you play as hard as you work. And that you laugh more than you cry. I want you to set the bar high, but not too high. To reach for the stars, but with your toes on the ground. And to never, ever stop dreaming. But most of all, Erin, I wish for your happiness.And these dreams of mine are what started it all.

and i love reading them every morning and wondering what advice i'll get. and some have been weirdly accurate with what has been going on. so they always make me laugh. so anyone else do the notes from the universe?

and another fabulous weekend! had a great time down in maryland seeing little and glittle. it was relaxing and mostly just hanging out. friday night i drove down in some crazy thunder/hailstorms, which made the later part of my drive fun. and since i hit a ton of traffic (i love new jersey) and arrived late little and i just put on friends, drank some red wine and caught up on life. and saturday was quiet just hanging out, running a few errands and then glittle came and the 3 of us went to dinner and another friend and little's fiance met us for drinks. so it was a great time. and today i met up with another sorority sister/crewie for lunch. i hadn't seen her since july 2008 at her wedding, so that was fabulous. so yay!

and graduation was today at my undergrad. can't believe it has been 3 years, absolutely crazy. time is going by waaaay too fast!

now a busy busy week. ellis island trip monday, lots of work tuesday, i need to write finals and just get a lot done for the end of the year, wednesday i'm seeing dear juliet with erin, thursday i'm hoping to go on a bike ride and friday i'm up to connecticut for a long weekend in ct/boston for a graduation. yay!
