In the airport and waiting to board my first flight to Chicago and then I'm off to state 32 Texas!
This is my last weekend working these conferences and I just have no desire to do it. I put off packing until this morning and left at the last minute possible. I am excited to go to Texas and see Dallas though. And the 80 degree weather that I will get there! But my co workers this week are fun, so that will help.
And for my history dork moment my professors book - 1861 came out yesterday and I had pre ordered it and was soooo excited when it arrived yesterday. I only read a few pages because I went out with M. But yay! I'll be reading it on my flights today and can't wait to get my civil war dork on!
So any recommendations for things to do in Dallas? I'll have Sunday night to Tuesday morning to play around the area!

I loved Dallas when I went. You'll have a blast!! You have to go to Dealey Plaza and see the JFK museum. They also have a great art exhibit there too. It's really nice.
