the universe

So I get Notes From the Universe in my inbox every morning and some days they are just so darn true I can't help but laugh, and the one this morning well, hit right on home.

Go with it. Roll, Erin. Swerve.

The "unexpected" is just my way of preparing you for more than you knew to ask for.

Bounce back, serpentine, 2-step -
   The Universe

As we know my life has been nothing but the unexpected the last few years so this little note was just a reminder that well it all works out and it will. (I just wish I knew when!)

So I've been in Charleston the last week, not doing much but job searching and going to the beach. A lot. I went Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday and then for a walk on the beach Friday night. I'm trying to come up with a post to describe my feelings about everything going on right now but I just can't put words to it. So for now here are some pictures from my week!

The beach right by Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island. I went to a talk at Moultrie on the Mass 54th and Battery Wagner - what the movie Glory is based on. The 18th was the 149th anniversary of the battle. The lighthouse in the distance is by Morris Island, where the battle was fought.

margs with guac at Taco Boy in Charleston! Yum! After a day at the beach!

cleaning out my car and all 4 of my knee braces! the left 2 are my most recent ones from Dec 11 and the right 2 are from my Aug 02 surgery!
So now I'm changing plans and off to NJ tomorrow (13 hours in a car!) to do a few things before I head to DC on Friday to start working a conference for 10 days! So my plans are always changing, but I can't wait to be in DC for a bit and to catch up with my friends, who I haven't seen in forever!
