traveling again

so life is about to get crazy again!

my doctor told me he didn't want me working retail for a few more months. so to not go crazy just subbing and hoping to make a little more money i decided to see if i could work more of the conferences i worked last spring. and things are looking up because i was hired to work six conferences from feb to april so i'll be traveling to a few new places! as well to a few places i've been before. but i'm really excited about my upcoming travels and continuing to work with some great students around the country and also great co-workers!

but the crazy starts next week when i have to be in dc for training. (yay! dc i get to see so many friends!)
i need to be there on sunday. like the 22nd.
i still don't have my correct insurance card (looong story, basically the state of nj messed up and signed me up for dental insurance instead of medical and it still isn't fixed on jan 12)
i still don't have my smaller knee brace. due to the above insurance issue.
i can't drive for more than 2 hours. and my car is in nj and needs to get to charleston.
i don't know when i'll have the insurance card and the knee brace.

so lots of fun. and trying to figure out a plan.
the original plan before me needing to be in dc was my sister was driving me down to charleston.
and if i have the knee brace before the 22nd will help in knowing what the next step is.
but i will be back in charleston either sometime next week or around the 28th.

yay! crazy!

but the cities i'll be visting!

boston (one of my favorite cities. hope to see a few friends)
boise, idaho!!! (so excited! never been to idaho!)
chicago (sooo excited! can cross off my 30/30 list!)
princeton, nj (umm, down the road. not exciting)
atlanta (yay! can't wait to explore atlanta!)
irvine, ca (ehh, i get lots of frequent flier miles)

so overall i got great cities! and i'm excited to go to mostly new places. and i'm also hoping to throw in a pit-stop in denver, co to see a friend. so lots of upcoming adventures, plus regular life in charleston in between the travels.

woooo!

ps. it makes me sad that this time last year i was frolicking about europe. i wish another europe trip was in store for 2012.

idaho! it's states like that that make me wonder what will ever bring me there.

you're here and all of the sudden you're leaving. maybe we can find some time to get together one more time!?

Yay for more travelling!
I went to college near Atlanta and my best friend still lives there. It's such a great place! Make sure you check out Little Five Points when you're there!

Hooray for traveling! I'm jealous you get to go to Boston and Chicago...I've been craving a Boston visit, and I've never been to Chicago. I hope you make it to Denver...love that city, but then again I'm a tad biased. :-)

That sounds so cool - I would love to do something like that one day :) And Chicago is on my wishlist, too.
