Happy 2013! I know this is a few days late - but better late than never! And I'm really going to work on blogging more in 2013 - I've missed writing about my days!
2012 was a very interesting year for me. I feel like that has been the trend the last few years - lots of uncertainty, adventures and just enjoying each day as it comes. Looking back at the goals I set a year ago I did a good job of accomplishing some things - at least the big ones!
2012 goals
-find a full time job where i am happy (preferably teaching) - Woooo! Started my full time job at the end of August as Program Coordinator for conferences! I'm so happy and loving what I'm doing!
-continue traveling - I feel as I didn't travel as much in 2012 as 2011, but I still made 2 new states - Colorado & Wyoming! And I went to Chicago, Atlanta & Cali for work among other places. But I did travel a lot - especially up & down the east coast.
- read 100 books - 138 books in 2012! Mostly chick-lit, but a few history books mixed in there!
-write more letters & cards to friends - I was really good about mailing birthday cards to my friends!
- get my strength back in my knee and run a half marathon this fall - SO proud of myself for this one! Ran the Philly half in November in 2:22!
- get my savings up to $5,000 - Finances were probably my biggest fail of 2012.
- get my first two years of college scrapbook finished - I've worked on my scrapbook and photos are picked and laid out for each page, but they need to be made pretty!
- continue doing my photo365 - I kept up with my photo 365 until the end of July. So this run was 2 years total! I did all of my 25 & 26th years.
- cross 5 things off my 30 by 30 list - chicago, find a job I love. And working towards deserts, pres bios & national parks.
-create 3 things off my pinterest list - I cooked/baked a bunch of pinterest recipes! I need to work on the more crafty ones!
- blog more (100 posts) - fail. 60 posts.
- continue looking for the best in every situation - I think I do well on this one - with all the physical therapy issues and then not getting any of the teaching jobs I've applied for... but I'm so happy in VA right now!
- enjoy life and have fun! - 2012 was a great year!
2013 goals...
-go to 2 new states
-use my passport in 2013
-read 100 books
-lower my credit card debt & save $1000
-run 2 half marathons
-finish first 3 years of college scrapbook
-send more cards & letters to friends
-go to 20 national park sites
-go to a winery
-read 10 presidential bios

I'm a little more specific this year than I've been in the past, but I'm excited about 2013 and everything that it has in store! What are your 2013 goals?

Good luck with your goals for the year, Erin! Which presidential bios are you thinking of for the year? You should visit Montana and Glacier if you get a chance - most gorgeous national park I've ever been to!
