november!

november. how is 2009 almost over? this year has just FLOWN by.

but 2009 has been the most amazing year so far and i'm looking forward to a fabulous november and december :)

good, but slightly crazy weekend in connecticut. had a fun halloween party where i dressed way to slutty for my usual. but it was fun. halloween isn't one of my favorites but i had a good time. it seems when i do dress up for halloween i go the mean girls route - "in girl world, halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything bad about it." we had a fun party saturday night and it was nice to drink (yay margaritas) but wow, that's why i don't make drinks because they were strong! and the bobbing for nips (the small airplane bottles, never heard them called this before) was hilarious! soooo many inappropriate comments and that's what she said jokes. yes we are 5.

so it was nice to get out and to go up to connecticut :) and on the way home i stopped at the amazing book barn and got 12 books for $54. a bunch of history hardcovers and then a few fun easy reads. so lots of good things to look forward to. i'm really excited about the history of the arab peoples by albert hourani and a few others. yay books!

and can i just say GO YANKEES!!! one more win!! it has been such a great series, but seriously these 8pm starts are killing me, staying up until midnight. grrrr. but i love my twitter during the games, sooo funny!

anyway off to sleeeeeeep and a 3 day week this week! YAY!!!
