It is crazy to think that two years ago this weekend was college graduation. and even worse is i haven't been back to chestertown since that day. not that i haven't wanted to go back, i would love to spend a few days walking around campus, stopping by to chat with professors, sitting out in the quad, seeing the new buildings and how much campus has changed. exploring my favorite places downtown, shopping in twigs, sitting out along the river, laughing about all the crazy practices, stopping by the custom's house, having fun nights at andy's with their martinis and popcorn, and singing along to all the music at the bird while drinking the cheapest beer in town. and then little drives to betterton, the dock and just all around the area. i really miss the eastern shore. i'm hoping since i'll be so close this summer i'll be able to spend a day visiting a few friends who still live in the area. and next year i would love to be able to go back to campus for alumni events and other fun times during the year!
so it was a fun weekend :) really relaxing and quiet. on sunday amy and i went on a little adventure around the area. we went to 2 different lighthouses and small little beaches. though the weather was cold and windy we had fun just walking around and talking pictures!

docks and a seagull

first lighthouse we went to - so small and cute!

amy and i at the first lighthouse

second lighthouse - this one is still in use today and someone still lives there
so it was fun and a nice way to spend sunday. so nothing too crazy this week, just work but i'm sure we'll find some fun thing to do!
ohhhhh, and i finally caved and joined twitter... so if you are interested in
following me here i am!

It looks beautiful, even if it was cold!
I graduated from college two years ago today also. It's crazy how fast time goes by! I can't believe it's been that long!
Haha, welcome to Twitter!
I had similar thoughts this past weekend, though it was only a year ago that I graduated. But you should definitely go back and visit and go to those campus events if you're close. I wish I was able to go back to Austin for certain things, but it stinks being so far away. But I hope you're able to make more appearances around your alma mater.
I love the picture of the seagull and dock. Great photo. I'm following you now on Twitter! I'm @bayjb
I graduated two years ago from last Sunday, too! I was freaking out a little bit about that. I feel OLD. And that same night I also found my first gray hair. Yikes.
I was actually in Milwaukee visiting my boyfriend last weekend and since we both went to school there, it wasn't long before we stumbled upon all of the grads from our school in caps and gowns. It was very surreal.
Love the pictures!
Ahhhhhh don't remind me that it's been two years since college ended! Scary.
Love the pictures!
If you head to the Eastern Shore, let me know!!! I'd love to meet up in Ctown for a drink at Andy's or whatever :) Or, my uncles both have boats, and so does my grandfather, so we could always go out on the river (although, I'm sure you're getting pretty sick of being on boats!!)
:)
I lived abroad in Korea so I can relate to the experience of living abroad and the awkwardness you feel when you return home. I've enjoyed reading your blog and look forward to reading more.
