sail away...

it has been a long week, it was fun, but long. work wise we are getting close to being done for the season, our last group is this week. and i worked a lot this week, so it was pretty crazy. so since i was at work most of the week there wasn't much time for other fun. but monday night, was pretty fun! we put opperation brig into effect! amy hadn't been pranked yet at work, so the plan we devised was to take brig (her cat) and pop her through the porthole in the cabin so she would scare amy. so we created a harness/leash for the cat and then put her in her carrier and walked to work, where we took out a small boat and were all ready! so we get there to find she locked the porthole (i had unlocked it before i left at 10), so our plan was slightly changed, but luckily she opened it when we knocked on it and the cat was pushed through! luckily she found it amusing! so that was a fun adventure.

as a way to celebrate the end of a long week, a group of us went sailing friday afternoon. it was a gorgeous afternoon, sunny and warm with some wind. it was fun and a great way to relax. amanda took a few pictures as her camera is waterproof!

so it was a great start to the summer! hopefully the weather will continue to stay warm as i am more than ready for summer!

and in more fabulous news, i found beamish! like cans of it! i was surprised monday night with a few cans of it and then when we were in the liquor store yesterday they also had it there as well! so i was overjoyed at finding it and knowing that it is available in the states! so yay!

and in sad news, my camera has kinda died. i went to grab it out of my bag, when i realized the screen was cracked. so i can still take pictures, i just don't have a screen. the problem with that is i can't change any settings or anything. but it still kinda works. so at least i still have a camera until i can get a new one. i've had it for about 3 years now, and i've taken over 12000 photos with her, so she has been loved! so hopefully i can get a new one soon!
