off again

so i'm headed back down to the dc area in a few hours! i am so excited about the next 2.5 weeks! the conference i'm working is super cool and i'm getting to do some awesome things in dc/nyc! and it will mostly be international students, so i'm really excited about that!

my 40 hours home has been good. i saw my family, grandparents, aunt and little cousins, got my haircut! YAY! nails done, ran some errands and relaxed. i'm not looking forward to the drive back down, but i'm stopping to see the boy and i just realized that my twin's (absolute best friend in the world) boyfriend lives like 5 minutes away from the boy. and we are both going down there this afternoon, so i get to see twin!!!! YAY! i haven't seen her since december and so this makes me excited :)

so more about the boy...
so when we go around dc we travel by bus. each bus gets 2 groups, so he was my bus partner. and we had been friendly during training, he was actually the first person i met in the elevator the day i moved in and i thought he was cute. but our last night of training we hung out a bit at the staff party and it just went from there. and so my supervisor put us as bus partners because he likes to be a matchmaker, so after he realized we were together, he told us that he tries to set people up, so that made us laugh! he is from pennsylvania, social studies and secondary education, likes to mountain bike, loves cars, makes me laugh, can be just as silly as i can... (on the bus we sang our heart will go on.... the other 2 staff on the bus were being funny and when the students wanted us to do a duet they were trying to get the sappiest song they could) and so i'm excited.

so hope everyone has a fabulous 4th of july weekend! i'll most likely be internetless for the next 2 weeks. so not looking forward to that, but i'll survive. i don't even want to know what my reader will look like!
