so by now i think y'all know of my love for miss taylor swift. and monday her 3rd and very fabulous cd "speak now" was released. and of course i was out monday picking up my copy of it. and blaring the radio on the way home! and what can i say, but i love it!
i love that she writes all her own songs, i love that she writes them about her experiences and they just are real anad i've been able to connect to so many of her lyrics, especially her older ones from her first cd. but i laughed when i read the booklet, and she talked about the symbolism behind the title - speak now. that these are all letters to people where she didn't say when the moment was in front of her. and i admire her for that, plus it is kinda fun to match the person to the song. and i have to laugh at dear john - speculated to be about john mayer. the lyrics are hilarious!
right now my favs are mine, back to december and enchanted. you know i'll be listening to this cd on repeat for a while :) so go check it out!
so my week home has been good, kinda quiet. but i've ran errands and i'm reading a lot. my goal of 75 books this year will be met! as i'm currently reading about a book a day this week. and i'm getting my haircut this afternoon. i've written the 3 college recommendation letters i needed to write for students from last year. and right now i am sitting while colby (my car) is getting her 25,000 mile service. and i'm biting my tongue to not get involved in this conversation between two older people about the public education system, and it turned to teacher bashing about salaries and how little they work.... uuuugh! drives me crazy!
and the weather has been pretty crazy, it is in the upper 60s almost 70 and honestly i'm just ready for fall. which is crazy, as i love warm weather. but it is almost november and i've recently bought some cute fall clothes and i'm ready to wear them. but it has been kinda dreary and rainy, so i've loved curling up with a good book and a cup of tea.

I LOVE her new CD too!!! I guess I need to read the booklet, though! "Speak Now" and "Never Grow Up" are my faves! :)
