notes, chocolate chip cookies, barbecue

bah, i don't know how i am going to do it this summer trapped inside on nice sunny days? i've never spent a summer inside and today is the first absolutely gorgeous day outside. it is about 60 and sunny, like it felt warm when i left my house at 9am and i am wearing a skirt today. YAY! lets just hope it stays this way, but apparently may is usually a sunny month because everyone is stuck inside studying because it is the month of exams.

so it was a pretty good weekend. got a lot of notes typed up. so for most of it i was just sitting around typing up highlighted information and watching movies. so it was pretty boring, oh well. it is something i need to get done so i can start writing my thesis, i'm hoping to be done with the notes by the end of the week, so i can get started writing by early next week. kara and i set a plan, that we need to have at least 8,000w before we can see the time the sex and the city movie which comes out may 30th, so that is my first two chapters.

sunday after running some errands in town and typing, kara came over for dinner, and it was great to catch up as i haven't seen her much in the last week because her family was over. and then we made chocolate chip cookies, which were amazing. we each ate a few right out of the oven, along with my housemates and they loved them. so monday was the may bank holiday, so no work. so i slept in, went for a run with kara, then typed up some more notes then over to bellair for the barbecue. which was so much fun, it was great to sit around with everyone and just eat some great food - the cookies were a hit - drink, and just relax. we also started a fire and just sat around talking until 2am.

now i am at work, it is pretty slow today, so i am getting some notes typed. should be going for another run after work today, and then typing up more notes. tomorrow kara and i are going to do work on our thesis somewhere in the city centre, because the library is jam packed because all the undergrads and exams!
