that was such a fun, yet bittersweet day.
we woke up and made mimosas in garrett c and took a bunch of pictures, then walked across campus to find our names in toll where we would line up, the procession and sitting through the world's worst graduation speaker where i pretty much memorized the program and it was neat to see who graduated with honours and such, getting my diploma from baird and watching all my friends get theirs, taking a million pictures with my worch girls and other friends and family, and just trying to see as many people as possible before going back to gar c and packing up the rest, saying goodbye to everyone and then dinner at the granary with my family, before my last car ride home from ctown.
it has been a great and crazy year, i've loved almost every second of it, from my big summer adventure last year in annapolis to asheville, then home for a few weeks before the big west coast vacation, saying goodbye to my lovers up in boston/mystic and then ireland for grad school. it has been amazing, but it is soo crazy that i haven't seen most of my friends who became my family in a year now. i still talk to so many of them, but a year since my last hugs with the berries (and now we are all over the world, me in ireland, hila in dc and aubs in thailand), my last crew jokes with my teammates, the last gar c funtimes, the last time walking across campus. it is just crazy. i can't wait go go back and visit, it was fun to see everyone's graduation photos from sunday.
it is just crazy to see where my friends are a year later, we are all doing totally different things and most what we wanted for our post grad plans and are happy.
