friday

it has been a great week, i think the weather, up until today's really helped. low 70s and sunshine.. today is back to the usual low 50s and dreary. oh well that will probably be the 4 nice days for the summer. so i enjoyed it as much as i could, despite working all day monday, tuesday and wednesday, but i had thursday off, so that was nice. i went and sat outside during my lunch hour all 3 days which was fun.

thursday was my day off and it was fabulous. i went to the gym and then ran some errands in town, finally went grocery shopping, so now i have food again. then i met up with kara and eibhlin and we went to sit out in the glorious sunshine at fitzgerald park where i organized my thesis binder, it is now labled and divided alphabetically. they were laughing at my organizational skills, but whatever, it works for me. i just need to stop and get more tabs, i ran out, and i need to print out all the primary source notes from uconn, radcliffe and ellis island, i forgot to do that the other day. so yay for being productive and enjoying the sunshine. i got some colour! yay! then kara and i did quesadillas for dinner, then we met up around 9.30 back at my house, drank 2 bottles of cider and talked, as if we hadn't talked enough during the day, haha. then we went out for our usual thursday night fun, drinks at costigans and then we went to reirdan's. it was a fun night. kara and i laughed a lot, especially on the walk home, but seriously i am getting old. i was exhausted when i got home at 3am and this morning getting up for work was a killer. oh well.

nothing else super exciting this week, just reading and doing stuff on the thesis, which is also the plan for the weekend. i'm meeting kara this afternoon to head into town for a bit. sunday is wac's graduation, crazy that is has been a year, it feels like graduation was yesterday.

in fun news this week the wac women's crew team got their first ever bid to the NCAA's!!! i am so proud of them!
