blog challenge: best of 2009

so something on the 20sb blog caught my eye and we're going to see if i can do this.

it is the best of 2009 blog challenge. 31 days, 31 posts to look back on 2009 and reflect.

and as you might have guessed, 2009 was pretty awesome. like i still keep expecting to wake up and the last year has been an extremely long dream.

so december 1st is about a trip. your favorite trip in 2009.

favorite trip... where do i begin? i had some pretty awesome travels in 2009, but hands down my favorite was my college roomie coming to visit me in ireland and our trip to spain in january.

it was an amazing 10 days. showing my best friend the country i fell in love with and all over my home in cork. driving in ireland in peat the best rental car ever! and after a few hilarious adventures in eire we took a holiday in spain. i loved spain. from my interesting attempts to speak spanish, where i seemed to speak lolcat spanish, getting to see picasso's guernica, hilarious nights drinking red wine and tapas, playing in the mediterranean sea and drinking sherry... it was a trip i'll never forget and something that roomie and i'll be able to look back on and laugh :)

and for a bit of the amazing photography :)

"Scenerygasim" -- love it! And know exactly what you mean :) There have been so many times I've just stopped in front of something gorgeous and literally just had nothing to say... a moment of pure ephoria. Italy and England had plenty of spots like that and, for me, California recently produced the same result! Yay!
