and the game! for the second year in a row, i've gone to bed early and missed out. silly game ending at like 3am in ireland! and i also didn't see commericals, so must youtube them at work. i tried this morning, but i was unsuccessful.
oh so yesterday i spent a good three hours in the dublin airport arrivals. it made me happy. amy and my flight got into dublin at around 12.30 and i was catching the 6pm flight to cork. i made the choice to fly from dublin to cork, because even with all my airport sitting around, it would have been the same time getting home if i took the bus, by the time i got one into dublin, then one to cork. so i had a lot of time in the airport and watching the arrivals made me happy. especially all the kids waiting for a parent, it was so cute to see their faces light up when their mom walked through the door. it was a good way to spend a few hours and made me smile lots.
so february, apparently february 1st is the first day of spring here. i just laughed. i guess i don't think of spring until march 1st (even though the official day it isn't until later that month) and i consider summer to start june 1st, fall on september and winter on dec 1st. it was snowing in cork today. dublin/midlands/north should be getting some while we were just forcasted for flurries, which it did for about 4 minutes, but we are getting ice, which means i might die on my walk into work.
i'm writing up my posts on ireland and spain complete with pictures :) so hopefully i'll post the irish adentures tomorrow (we'll see how little work there is to do tomorrow at work) so happy groundhogs's day :)
and ps. my co-workers thought i was crazy when i was talking about groundhog's day... the random things that we love in america... don't even get me started on talking about football and the superbowl either.

When you get youtube to work, look up the e*trade commercials. They were pretty funny. You can't NOT laugh when there's a talking baby involved.
I thought Bruce was pretty darn good as well. He really was able to be himself while in this kind of weird setting- playing halftime at the Super Bowl.
I wasn't rally impressed with the commercials this year, but I enjoyed the Bud Light ad w/ Conan O'Brien. It's pretty funny.
