Now I wasn't really looking forward to the movie itself. I've been making funny jokes the last two weeks and laughing about it. I pretty much missed the Hannah Montana craze, I can name two of her songs and have maybe seen 2 episodes...
So Amy and I drove to Providence singing along to the new Rascal Flatts cd and then when we saw them I totally ran the 20 feet and jumped on both of them! I haven't seen either of them since our amazing weekend on the Cape in July. So after a super fabulous Cheesecake Factory dinner we headed to get our seats. Now, Kaity and I were still a bit skeptical at this point.
But pretty soon the inner 13 year old in me quickly came out.
The songs were catchy, it was your classic Disney movie, the plot was cute, and it was funny. Also Rascal Flatts had 2 songs and the Taylor Swift song was AMAZING. At one point I leaned over to Kaity and said, so I think I just drank the kool-aid and she agreed with me. So I have to admit I'm becoming a fan. So I actually had a great time with the girls, we were totally dancing in our seats, hitting each other at points in the movie and laughing. So our goal for the next week is to learn the hoedown throwdown before next weekend when Amy and I head to Boston to see them and to cheer on Jeanne in the Marathon on Monday!
So the weather this weekend, sad. It poured all day Saturday and after meeting Jersey for Starbucks in the morning, I pretty much curled up on the couch with Amy and the cat, where we totally were listening to the Hannah Montana soundtrack. I finished the third Twilight book - Eclipse and started the fourth - Breaking Dawn. And then we also dyed Easter eggs with Amanda and Barry. But it was a very relaxing, lazy day. Dying eggs was great fun. I haven't done that in forever!

our awesome eggs
So today was slightly more productive than yesterday. I finished Breaking Dawn. I liked the fourth book the best of them all. It seemed it actually had a plot more than - omg i love you, but turn me into a vampire, angsty i love edward but my bff hates my boyfriend and loves me too. So overall they were ok, not a huge fan, but I can see why they are popular. Much more of a Harry Potter fan. Oh, and I was a fan of Edward and not Jacob. So for Easter, Amy and I cooked an amazing dinner and I made a delicious apple pie. Sarah came over and we had a great little feast. So it was a good day, now Amy is getting me hooked on the West Wing, as I've never watched it.
And it is almost Monday again... what will this week have in store?

Well I don't know if I can contribute anything to the Twilight-Hannah Montana-Harry Potter conversation but I can say that your dyed Easter eggs look lovely!
Happy Easter!! Your eggs look so cute- I really miss doing that...
P.S. Love the hair.
so yeah, def. want so see that movie - i like miley a lot - she is down to earth and a good role model... especially because there are very few good role models out there for the tween crowd! (which is my crowd this summer!) Plus, i like her song "the climb" :) Nice eggs...havent read twilight, might have to so i can carry on conversations with the campers this summer (well, thats my excuse anyway)
