I was quite excited when I got home from work today and my Land's End package had arrived!
I quickly opened it and was so excited to see my PINK shoes! I was in Sears a few weeks ago with my Mom, and they caught my eye. Now at first I was disappointed because they were in girls. But I have an abnormally small feet, and they went up to size 5. Which is my size, YAY! So I try them on and they were huge! So I tried on 4s in a different color and they fit, but I really wanted pink. So I was excited that they have finally arrived. I can't wait until it gets slightly warmer and I can wear them! They are perfect for the spring/summer, especially since I need a closed toe shoe, but they aren't restrictive! And also my tote-bag arrived too! And getting packages is always fun!
So for dinner tonight, Amy, Nick and I headed to this amazing little place along the coast as a sailing team was doing a fundraiser. And while we waited for our table we looked at all the awesome boats, and silly me knows very little about boats and these two just kept going on.. but there was a gorgeous sunset and while I don't know much about boats, I do like to look at them. And dinner was fabulous and the place was great! So they ordered stuffed quahogs for an appetizer. So I'm a picky eater but I've gotten better. I told them to order whatever as most of the apps were seafood. So while we were waiting for them to come out, I was like what exactly are they? I was like is it a mussel, oyster or clam? I knew it belonged in that family. Well, them being sneaky went we'll only tell you if you promise to try it. Now I wasn't going to promise to try it, I told them I would think about it. So, they go it is baby chicken... like veal is baby cow. Now I knew that was wrong... but they wouldn't give up. So I decided to be a big girl and just try them, but still don't like clams. Is it sad, I was figuring they were clams from Family Guy? But the rest of the dinner was great and it was a fun night.
And I LOVE Easter candy sales - Starburst jellybeans were on sale 50% off, so I stocked up. Amy said she might have to ration them... I do not approve. So in other funny news, after getting home Amy looks at what I was wearing and was making fun of me wearing pink shoes (I was trying them on) with my nantucket reds and cream cable knit irish sweater... and as soon as she said that I went, OMG I am crew coach!!!! My freshman and sophomore years the men's coach always wore nantucket reds and cable knit sweaters... Neither of us didn't even think of it until she said it outloud. But it was pretty funny.
I'm also planning to see a good college friend in two weeks, which should be awesome. I haven't seen her in forever and I'll also be going to an eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!awesome concert. She has an extra ticket and so that just makes it like 35689times more exciting. This whole living in the US has its advantages, especially living in areas where friends live and getting to have little college reunions!

I like both the shoes and the tote bag. I wish I could wear fun or bright clothes but I'm old and (kind of ) boring, so I don't haha.
Also OH DEAR GOD THAT CAT IS CUTE.
Sorry- I love cats and I really want one. That picture of the sunset is very gorgeous as well, but I think the cat wins the "Best Picture" award for this post.
Those shoes are really cute!!
I am a very picky eater. People make fun of me all the time for acting like I'm 5 when I eat. I am working on it though.

Love the tote bag and shoes! My goodness, you have teeny tiny feet! I'm super jealous...my gigantic size 9s make me feel like I'm always wearing clown shoes. Good times.
